Cambourne Spartans are currently playing @ Under 14 in the Cambridge and District Stanley League after being promoted as champions in our first season (2016-17). Spartans aim is to develop our boys physically, personally and in their sporting ability. We are not a win at all costs team, but are a committed and maximum endeavours group of boys who want to succeed and achieve.

Managed by Richard Rowell and Henry Grain the team was the brainchild of Leon Rowell and Benjamin Grain who wanted a new team in Cambourne with the objective of involving boys from their local school and surrounding areas.
​
Cambourne Spartans are currently looking for new players to improve the squad, we provide a close knit and nurturing environment offering the boys a chance to learn and improve in training with the players development and confidence a first priority.

BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS

Spartans win their Under 14 age league with three games remaining and secure promotion to the elite league in Cambs & District, the boys are working towards a 100% win record which is a brilliant achievement at such a high level at this age group.

Cambourne Spartans will be attending Lady Mitchell Hall in Cambridge to presented with their league champions shield by Cambs FA.

The boys and parents will then go on to the end of season trophy day in Cambourne.

CUP FINAL HEARTBREAK

Spartans fought to the end in a tense cup final vs Witchford eventually losing out 2 : 1 to miss out on a stunning double in their first ever season. Playing all of the football and going very close on three or four occassions.
